What are we learning at home?

The support and learning that takes place at home is key to your child’s success.  Each half term your child will receive a ‘home learning’ sheet which will suggest different activities you can do with your child. All of these activities will relate to the class topic at the time and include a variety of subjects such as: Art, Science, English and even a trip you could take your child on. This ‘home learning’ can be brought into school at any time and handed into the class teacher. It can also be e-mailed to the school at school@malmesbury.merton.sch.uk

In addition, your child should read for 10 minutes every day which should be recorded in the home-school diary and they should practise their times tables and use Times Tables Rockstar on a daily basis.

Year 6 will have homework on a daily basis in order to prepare them for their transition into secondary school.

Children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) use Google Classroom, online cloud-based teaching resources, and the guide below will help you access this from home.
