Cost of living assistance - Thinking Works
Mon 16 Dec 2024We know that the high cost of gas and electricity and ongoing Cost of Living pressures are particularly hard for families. We have been made aware that Merton Council have funded a service called Warm & Well in Merton, where the following is available:
* FREE £49 fuel voucher to help with energy costs for those with a prepay meter and following an assessment
* FREE LED lights x4
* FREE radiator reflector panels
* FREE Carbon Monoxide detector (if required)
The service is run by the not-for-profit organisation Thinking Works who provide, alongside the items above, a free energy, finance and wellbeing assessment to make sure you are aware of ways to save energy and water and can access all the support available to you.
The service is offered on a first-come-first served basis and is available by contacting Thinking Works on 0800 118 2327 or emailing enquiries@thinkingworks.co.uk and quoting "Malmesbury School"

School Safe Streets - Reminder
Thu 17 Jun 2021SCHOOL STREETS
London Borough of Merton
What is a school street?
School streets restrict motor vehicle access around schools which aim to create a safer, healthier and more liveable street environment for everyone.
Limiting access at pick-up and drop-off times gives the whole school community the opportunity to travel to and from school in safety. With less traffic, children can walk, scoot and cycle; helping kids to be healthier and more active. Local residents can enjoy quieter streets.
