Vaccinations
Measles
Children and adults can catch up on any missed vaccinations by contacting their GP practice. If parents are unsure of their child’s MMR status, they can check with their GP. If children are not registered with a GP, they can register online.
The school immunisations team are also running additional clinics in primary schools.
The list of schools which already have clinics booked are shown below.
The school imms team will be contacting parents directly but parents can also call 020 8487 1730 to book an appt or email: hrch.immunisationcallcentre@nhs.net
Children should ordinarily have had the first dose at 1 year old and the second dose at 3 years and 4 months old. Two doses of the MMR can provide life-long immunity, will help prevent the spread of measles, safeguard children’s health and that of their friends, school staff and our wider community. MMR also protects against mumps and rubella.

Polio
Polio is spreading in London. Make sure your child is up to date on their vaccinations: Polio is a serious virus that can cause paralysis or in some cases, even death. Check your child's red book or contact your GP to check your child's vaccine status. If your child has missed one of their vaccinations, it's not too late, please contact your GP to book a vaccination as soon as you can.
Parents and carers can now find their nearest polio vaccination clinic using this new webpage https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/polio/vaccination-sites/. More information on the polio virus can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/polio/
