Eco-Committee
What is Malmesbury's Eco Committee?
Malmesbury’s Eco Committee is a group of children that have volunteered to initiate changes that will be good for the environment around the school building. We usually have Eco Committee meetings on the first Tuesday of the month. We have chosen three themes that we would like to focus on which are: energy, biodiversity and waste. To complete this project, it will take us at least 9 to 10 months (October-July). We are hoping that with all these efforts Malmesbury will become an Eco school and will be presented with a Green Flag which is an award given to schools when they actively engage in environmental issues and make positive changes to their surroundings.
