Spanish Club

Madame Fesnoux has found some language challenges and activities on one of her favourite websites - www.lightbulblanguages.co.uk. Here is the Spanish challenge called "Lumen's Spanish Award". You can email evidence to school@malmesbury.merton.sch.uk and Madame Fesnoux will send you a certificate!

Spanish Club meets after school on Wednesdays and is open to Year 6. Here we are at the end of the summer term, trying Spanish tapas and hitting a piñata. Piñatas originally come from Mexico and are filled with treats. For children, they are often the highlight of a fiesta.

As well as learning Spanish, we find out about Hispanic culture, including music, food and festivals, like 'El día de muertos'. Here are some 'calaveras' that we designed ourselves.

Can you sing these songs we've written to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas"?
