Summary of school priorities 2025-26

Quality of Education

• To integrate oracy into all curriculum areas and across school life.
• To improve standards in writing with particular focus on using oral rehearsal and improving transcription across all writing.
• To develop oracy skills across all subjects by developing vocabulary spine.
• To improve standards in maths, with a particular focus on oracy.

 Leadership and Management

• To improve and increase means of promoting the school and its success – in order to increase school role.
• To continue to enhance the impact of governance via increased training and visits to school.

Personal Development

• To enhance biodiversity across the school by implementing Greening Malmesbury Community Project.

Behaviour and Attitudes

• To improve attendance across the school with a particular focus on PA & SA children and targeted groups.

EYFS

• To review and strengthen progression of skills for gross and fine motor development in order to support the children's writing development. 

• To further explore low set-up environments which meet the needs of all children across the phase.
