Spanish Club

Spanish Club meets every Thursday to learn the Spanish language and to find out about the Hispanic culture. You can visit our virtual classroom to hear some songs, stories and interesting facts about Spain and some other Spanish-speaking countries!

Mi mostruo

We have been writing descriptions of monsters. Click on the pictures to hear us describe our monsters.

¡Hola, niños! @ the BFI Imax

We were thrilled to be able to take a trip to the South Bank for a Spanish day organised by the British Film Institute. In the morning we did some activities based around three short films in Spanish and in the afternoon we watched a feature-length film in Spanish. We had a great day out!

Mixed-up animals

We've been making up our own mixed-up animals, with some interesting results!

Our last Spanish Club of this year was celebrated with a piñata and lots of sunshine! ¡Hasta luego!

As well as learning Spanish, we find out about Hispanic culture, including music, food and festivals, like 'El día de muertos'. Here are some 'calaveras' that we designed ourselves.

Can you sing these songs we've written to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas"?
