Eco-Committee

Our school’s Eco Committee is a group of pupils who care about protecting the environment and making our school a greener, healthier place. Over the past few years, children at Malmesbury have worked together to support our local community. They have met regularly to talk about what we have achieved so far, such as improving our outdoor spaces and taking part in projects that help wildlife. These discussions also help us plan for the future and think about how we can continue to make a positive difference.

So far, the Eco Committee has helped plant trees, expand our garden areas, and create habitats for animals. We have built bird feeders, bug hotels and we even added a hedgehog house to the garden to support local wildlife. We have also grown and sold seeds and plants at our summer picnic, helping to spread our eco message beyond the school. Looking ahead, we would like to plant even more trees and introduce new plants around the field to make our environment even greener. Since 2023, the Eco Committee has played an important role in these achievements—and now we would love your support to help us do even more!
