History of Malmesbury Primary School

Serving our community for nearly 100 years!

Since the construction of the St Helier Estate some 100 years ago, the location of Malmesbury Primary School has been a seat of education. On our site, there have been infant, junior, middle and senior schools. In 2002, almost 25 years ago, the site was allocated to the education of primary age children, specifically, and the school as we know it today with our lovely playing field, garden and library was born with one singular aim (an aim we share with all of the previous schools that once graced our site): to ensure the children of our community get the very best start in life.

Our site was set aside for schools as the developers of St Helier Estate understood the importance of providing high quality education to the local community’s children. We remain as determined as ever to carry on with that mission by working every day to bring out the very best in our pupils.

We are proud of our history. Proud of the integral part we have played, for almost a century, in helping to build the dynamic and vibrant community that the St Helier Estate is today.
