Blogging

Year 6 have their own educational blog! Friends and family can visit the page and delve into the learning of both Redwood and Juniper Class. Anyone can read and leave a comment, the more the better! The children are aware of how to keep safe when using the blog at school and at home. If you are visiting the blog for the first time, please take a look at the E-safety and Rules pages at the top of the page. To enter the blog, click here.

With SATs creeping up on us, we want to make sure that you are feeling confident and prepared. Take a look at some of our Top Tips below!

  • Make sure that you have early nights from now  so that you are not too tired! Perhaps you could read a book before going to sleep.

  • Ensure that you have a big breakfast. Maybe this would be a good week to try/have school dinners! Don't forget our special *Year 6 Breakfast Club* that will run from 8.15am :)

  • Try to organise your pencil case the weekend before SATs. You will need: handwriting pens, pencils, rubber, ruler and a sharpener.

  • Be on time everyday!

  • Bring your PE kit everyday as we may go out in the afternoons!

  • Don't panic. Try to relax, maybe ask your mum to run you a bath to ease your stresses.
