Your child can have either a school meal or bring a packed lunch. Don't forget, every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is entitled to a FREE school meal. For everyone else, school meals cost £1.90.
If you would like us to check whether your child is eligible for free school meals please bring your date of birth and National Insurance Number to the school office and we can check for you.
PACKED LUNCHES should be brought to school in the morning in a suitable, clearly named container and should not contain any chocolate, fizzy drinks or nuts. There are children in school with a nut allergy.
SCHOOL MEALS are fresh and nutritious and use seasonal produce wherever possible. We have regular theme day menus – keeping lunch time fun! School meals can currently be paid for by cash or cheque. We are moving towards being a cash-free school so from January 2017 parents will be able to pay for school meals using ParentPay, a secure online payment service. See below for more information.
For cash or cheque payments, pre-printed envelopes are provided by school. Put the exact money in the envelope, fill in the required details and post the envelope into the black post-box in the school reception area. We're sorry but we can't accept payments in the school office and we are not able to provide change. Payments can be made daily or for any number of days you choose. If paying by cheque, please make this payable to 'Chartwells', our catering provider.

Paying for School Meals using ParentPay from January 2017
ParentPay will be live at school from 1st January 2017; from this date we will be working towards no longer accepting cash and cheque payments, making the school a cash-free environment. Parents can either:
a) make secure payments online using a credit or debit card
b) pay by cash using the PayPoint network at local convenience stores.
a) Making secure payments for school meals online using your credit or debit card
We expect most of our parents will set up a ParentPay account. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
You will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password; you will be prompted to change these, and to keep them safe and secure. If you have more than one child at our school or children at other ParentPay schools, you can create a single account login for all your children.
Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you’ve activated your account you can make online payments straight away.
b) Using a PayPoint card to make cash payments for school meals
Parents who are unable to set up a ParentPay account can buy a PayPoint card (one card per child) from the School Office. The cards cost £1.80 each and lost or damaged cards will need to be replaced, again at a cost of £1.80 per card. Payment cards take about two weeks to arrive but school can issue a barcode letter to use until the card arrives. Parents will need to use the PayPoint card to make cash payments at one of these PayPoint stores near school:
