Modern Foreign Languages

German Club MFL News Spanish Club

French is taught throughout the school from Reception through to Year 6, with children being given the opportunity to participate in national and borough language competitions. As well as French, in Key Stage 2 children can join Spanish and German Clubs. To find out more about languages at Malmesbury, click on one of the links above. To see some examples of some of our work, read on!

Look in MFL News for photos from our Languages Day.

We've recently changed the language website that we subscribe to, so please let Madame Fesnoux know if you would like the log-in details to use the website at home.

Merton and Kingston Borough Language Competition

Year 4 have entered this year's competition with songs on the subject of sport, which they wrote to the tune of 'YMCA'. Children went into groups to write their songs and one song was chosen from each class for the whole class to sing. We hope you enjoy them. The winners will be announced at the end of the month, so good luck to both classes!
