A big thank you to everyone who supported our first Malmesbury Easter Egg Hunt.

We had an amazing response raising £400.00, and the weather was very kind to us as it was lovely sunny afternoon for the children to collect their clues.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our first quiz & pizza night. Some challenging questions but lots of fun and laughter.   We raised over £200 !!!  Watch this space for news about future events!

Santa's Grotto was particularly popular!

Friends @ Malmesbury PTFA Logo Competition...

We are delighted to announce that Elisa Sivasakthy won our competition as voted for by the children at Malmesbury.

The logo will be used on all correspondence for

Friends @ Malmesbury.

Well done to Elisa and the runners up:  Chloe Martin,

Bella Ames, Rahul Rajagopalan and Alexia Bizoi.

Thank you to everybody who entered the competition.

Fun in the Nursery Playground!

Friends @ Malmesbury are pleased to announce that we have purchased, from your kind donations, super building blocks for the Nursery and Reception children.  The blocks help children with coordination, balance, problem solving, team building skills and are a very valuable and fun resource for the children.

Thank you so much for your support!

We are always looking for class representatives to help the Friends @ Malmesbury when we are arranging events, even if you only have a spare hour or two every now and then, please let us know that you are willing to help.

Types of support may include:

        *  Collecting items/money from the children as
they arrive in school (e.g. Mufti Day)

           *  Wrapping items for the Winter Fair

        *  Helping out with refreshments at events etc.

Please let your child's class teacher know if you are able to offer any time, email Friends @ Malmesbury, or leave a note in our post box in the reception area. Thank you!

'Every little helps!'

Thank you all for the amazing contributions made for our Mufti day last half term.  We managed to raise in excess of £350, which will now be used to purchase items for the Winter Fair and other items for the children.

Ways to stay in touch with Friends @ Malmesbury...

As well as our pages on the school website, we now have 2 chalk boards in the KS1 playground that will be updated regularly.

Don't forget you can get in touch with us by email

or via our red Friends @ Malmesbury post box in the school foyer.

We are very pleased to announce that we have been able to purchase a shed for the Eco Gardening Club, which Mr Steltner and Mr Levi built for us at the beginning of the Autumn term.

An amazing finale to our Enabling Enterprise week with a huge turnout for our afternoon sharing all the hard work undertaken by children, members of staff and the Friends @ Malmesbury.

Money raised will go towards funding additional events, activities and equipment for the children.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success!  We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures...

The first Friends @ Malmesbury school disco held on 9th July was a  resounding success!!  Children enjoyed dancing and being with their friends, and the party bags were a big hit!

The DJ said that the behaviour of the children was the best he'd seen at a school disco, we are all very proud!

We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs!

We are collecting school uniforms to sell as second hand uniform in the new school year.  As many children are moving on to their new schools in September, and children will have outgrown their current uniform, we would really appreciate parents donating uniforms in order for us to resell, and again raise more funds.  We now have a large Wheelie Bin in the Reception area in which items can be donated.

Your help and support with this is always greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

Friends @ Malmesbury

Keep buying the ice creams and lollies each Friday after school in the KS1 playground, we are doing really well with our fund raising for a garden shed in the

children's Eco Garden!

Alternatively, if anyone is able to offer us a shed

(5' x 7') please contact Miss Gunderson and let her know.  We can then look at spending the money raised on another item for the children!

Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to look out for news about future

Friends @ Malmesbury events!!

Malmesbury's Parents, Teachers and Friends Association called Friends@Malmesbury was launched on 29th April 2015. The association will bring together parents, teachers and others to raise money, support the school and to make a difference for the children. All parents and staff at the school are automatically members and the association is also open to friends of the school in the local community.

There's an elected committee that looks after the formal business of the association but Friends@Malmesbury welcomes help from anyone, even if they only have a small amount of time to spare. You can contact the Friends@Malmesbury committee by email malmesburyfriends@outlook.com
